Hen Design has been providing architectural design advice for over 25 years, focusing mainly on residential properties based in Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire and Oxon. At any one time there can be 10-15 jobs submitted to the council waiting for planning permission, so we are continually working hard for our clients.

Hen Design was established by Helen Nightingale, after a successful career working for Bracknell Building Control. This provided invaluable experience in architectural design and preparing plans for local builders, not to mention the strong relationships build with local builders and suppliers.

Working closely with more than 10 construction companies, we can undertake any scale of building project, from a small porch, to extensions with vaulted roofs, to a site with 2-3 new builds. No job is too small or too big.

Refurbishment of existing properties can be a challenge, but Hen Design simplifies that process by taking care of the all the leg work, doing all administration and ensuring compliance with building regulations. With our vast experience and contacts we can always recommend the right builder for the right job.
